I found the solution to insert the image without converting into bmp file. Select the file that you wanted to insert like jpg, jpeg, png, gif... right click on the image, open with Paint, minimize the Paint tab, then you can see the image is inserted. Once the image is inserted, you can close the Paint tab. I found this easy method from another video.

I converted the image png to bmp using online converter and it successfully converted to bmp. When I tried to insert the image (bmp file), the image is not appearing. Please help.

More over as an Old School machinist. This version is expensive to manufacture with todays CNC shop time.

As Much as I feel Toby is a Solidworks Genius… After learning what he does I come up with a Way Simpler Approach to create the same thing, maybe with less detail but with Simplicity. I will attest all my personal advancements have come from Tobys teachings since 2018.

I realize this comment is 7 years too late, but... DANG, this was SUCH a good video; ideal illustrations, excellently organized, articulate, compounding advancements to cover amazing detail yet staying concise... Thank you for the effort placed into this instruction.

I have Units and Dimensions set to the desired decimals. I see the desired precision if I call dimensions. But solidworks fails to set the same precision if Measure Tool used. I love solidworks.

question? I have a harness with 45 pins using 3 different pins (280-480 and 630) can I get a report with the pin connection and terminal in that pin? Example in A1 we use 280 female terminal can I have a report showing all my 45 connections with each terminal? thank you for your video, very helpful
